Dr. Helena Viets combines specialized periodontal training with a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to care. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and her Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Science from the University of California, San Francisco, where she completed her periodontics residency and researched tissue healing.
With a foundation in general dentistry, Dr. Viets focuses on periodontal gum therapy, implant placement, extractions, sedation dentistry, and oral surgery. She emphasizes clear explanations and treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
Outside the office, Dr. Viets enjoys salsa dancing and music, reading, and spending time with her husband and 4dog. She is fluent in Spanish, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
